Wester Welson took the risk of being criticized and made a report on his own initiative.
Kevin Cliff's face showed no emotion, but the fists he clenched tightly betrayed his feelings.

Wester bowed his head, "It was out of turn for me to speak, boss. You needn't mind it."

Wester fled swiftly, closing the door and letting out a huge sigh of relief. It truly felt like escaping the tiger's maw.
The reason he took the initiative was that he didn't want the big boss to regret it in the future. If the big boss didn't appreciate it, there was nothing he could do.

In the study room, Kevin Cliff's tightly clenched fist smashed down on the smooth desk, and his usually cold and waveless face now held a frenzied tint.
He turned his chair around and raised his hand to massage his temples.
