Gavin Turner looked at her with nowhere to hide his shame, "Charlotte, I'm sorry, I lied to you."
He had thought that day would come sooner or later, and moreover, he hoped his parents would come to love the child in her belly as their own grandchild.
Charlotte Green chuckled and shook her head, "You have nothing to apologize for; it's me who didn't understand the situation and kept imposing on the senior without leaving."
After speaking, she turned to Mrs. Turner and bowed deeply with all sincerity, "Auntie, thank you for taking care of me these past days. Even though it ended up hurting you, I'm still very grateful for your affection as if I were your daughter."
Mrs. Turner turned her face away disdainfully, unwilling to look at her.
Charlotte sighed softly and turned to Gavin, "Senior, thank you as well for taking care of us, mother and son, during this time. I've troubled you for so long, and now it's time to leave."
