Charlotte Green didn't doubt for a second as she leaned in closely, carefully looking for flaws on the cake, but—
Ugh—
As soon as she smelled the strong scent of cream, she quickly covered her mouth, turned her face away, and gagged.
Wester Welson understood and handed the cake back to the waiter, "Ask the pastry chef to remake it."
"Is there really a problem? I'm sorry, I didn't notice," Charlotte Green eased her complexion, turned back, and said awkwardly.
"You're the owner of the store, no need to apologize," Wester Welson sat back in front of the counter, "You can go back, we don't need you here for now."
To know she was the owner and yet be in such a hurry to send her away, what kind of owner would be as easy-going as her!
Charlotte Green grumbled to herself, then said her goodbyes to the staff in the store.
