Having finished speaking, he swept a suggestive glance across at Director Liu on the opposite side, who shrank his neck in fear.
"I didn't think that much," Charlotte Green turned her face away.
"You didn't think that much, yet you dared to come to such a place alone, hmm?" Kevin Cliff directly scooped her up and placed her on his lap, his sharp gaze shooting toward Director Liu, "If you ran into some people with lust in their hearts, have you not considered the consequences? Or do you think you look 'safe' enough?"
The increasingly apparent innuendo made Director Liu break into a cold sweat. Timidly, he spoke up, "Chief Cliff, I just remembered I have something to do. How about we reschedule our discussion on the acquisition for another day?"
"We'll do it today, right now! Unless Director Liu doesn't want to give me this 'face'?" The piercing, icy words pinned Director Liu's feet in place, preventing him from leaving.
