"I heard you've already moved out of Kevin Cliff's place and will soon divorce him?"
It was indeed just hearsay, hearing it from her biological father, who, upon his return, demanded justice for his daughter—alimony, houses, villas—and because of this, he had discovered where she had been spending her days off and had someone follow her for a few days, learning where she had settled down.
"It was my dad who said that, wasn't it?" Charlotte could roughly guess what kind of actions her father would take.
