"Thank me for what? I'm just being prepared," Gavin Turner said with a smile, his eyes full of warmth.
"I know you're just looking out for me, thank you." Other than thanks, she truly didn't know what else to say.
"Never say 'thank you' to me; it's too distant," Gavin Turner requested solemnly, holding her shoulder firmly.
"Okay."
Charlotte Green nodded with a smile, knowing that a simple 'thank you' could never fully express the gratitude she felt inside.
