It was this cry of "Charlotte" that saved Gavin Turner from a disfigured fate.
Charlotte Green gave him a look and snorted coldly, pushing him away. She threw the bottle aside and stopped looking at him as if he were just another stranger.
"Charlotte, why did you come here?" Gavin walked to her front, asking urgently.
Had that man made her sad and distressed again? Was that why she had come here to drown her sorrows?
But how could his girl possibly come to a bar, not only dressed like this but also alone!
This sudden turn of events left the men around them stunned. She had fallen for this so easily? Unbelievable!
"Why can't I come? If she doesn't dare, I will come in her stead!"
Charlotte's tone, different from before, made Gavin pause and then his expression grew solemn.
This wasn't right, the woman before him was Charlotte, yet she wasn't Charlotte.
His Charlotte always spoke softly, even when angry, at most with a calm tone, never as assertive as she was now.
