After Abigail Summer's headache had subsided, they began flipping through every record again, and this time, Charlotte paid attention to every name that contained the character for "star", which could possibly be Abigail Summer, or it could be her "Abigail".
However, after poring over the records from twenty, twenty-one, and twenty-two years ago, they found no leads. They did find three names containing the character for star, but they were all boys.
"Perhaps not," Abigail Summer said as though she was both disappointed and somewhat relieved.
"That just proves you were not an orphan before the age of eight, which is good news," Charlotte said with a comforting smile.
"Charlotte, under what circumstances would a child be sold?" Abigail Summer asked with a bitter smile, "Only trafficked children and those unwanted by their parents."
