"Alright, no more teasing. Let's go!" Abigail Summer saw the fleeting sadness in her eyes and said with a smile.
Together they carried a bunch of presents into the Orphanage, greeted by the faint scent of flowers and the sight of children playing happily on the Artificial Lawn, their laughter and childlike innocence filling the air.
Seeing them, the children excitedly gathered around, their eyes brimming with pure longing.
The head of the Orphanage came out to welcome them and took the gifts from Charlotte Green's hands. Charlotte Green did not see Abigail Summer follow, and when she turned back, she saw Abigail Summer standing far away, holding a pile of gifts and staring blankly up at the Orphanage, lost in thought.
"What's wrong?" Charlotte Green approached to take some of the things from her arms and asked with concern.
