In the evening, Kevin Cliff left the office, originally planning to return to Star Garden, but ultimately changed his direction to the seaside Villa.
"Where is the lady?" Kevin Cliff asked as he came down from upstairs, having not seen Charlotte Green.
"The lady... the lady..." the Maid stammered out.
"Speak!" he commanded fiercely. Seeing the Maid so faltering, a feeling of worry shot through his heart, swift and sharp.
"The lady has gone to play on the beach." The Maid shivered, mustering all her courage to respond.
Because this lady, different from ordinary people, should never go to the beach alone, but the lady ordered not to follow and only allowed the caretaker named Emily to accompany her.
"Go prepare dinner." Miraculously, Kevin Cliff did not pursue the matter further but elegantly rolled up his sleeves as he headed in the direction of the beach.
The Maid stood rooted to the spot in astonishment. Since when had the ever-icy Mr. Cliff become so easygoing?
