Kevin Cliff gave a sly smile, "Yes, guarantee it'll fly high into the sky."
His voice seemed to carry a seductive huskiness.
"Okay! Okay!" Charlotte Green nodded as vehemently as if pounding garlic, her face eager to try.
Kevin pulled off his napkin, threw it on the table, stood up, walked over, bent down, and scooped her up to carry her upstairs.
Charlotte panicked inside. She certainly understood what his 'fly high into the sky' implied, but no one had ever taught her how a mental patient should act in such situations!
Why did he suddenly come? Why was he keeping her company for dinner, speaking such words, and now he wanted to...?
Could he have discovered something?
