Chapter 6 - Chapter 6- Cured

Liu Erlong came to a halt at the Green Poisonous Array that encircled the entire mountain in the Sunset Forest, and Liu Feng deduced that this array was built by Dugu Bo to protect this location from intruders.

'I don't know what's within this dreadful poison, maybe Poison Douluo planted herbs here,' Liu Feng pondered as The Green Poisonous Array was opened a pathway to allow them inside. Liu Erlong stepped along the path and crossed to the opposite side, where Dugu Bo and his granddaughter awaited the arrival of the mother-and-son duo.

"It took you less time than I thought because your name was quite popular a few years ago in Sunset Forest," Dugu Bo replied, and Liu Erlong grimaced as she remembered her vicious personality after Yu Xiaogang left her.

"Not as cruel as you Poison Douluo," Liu Erlong retorted with her reply to Dugu Bo, remembering that he was the most malicious person in the past. He smiled at her words and looked up to see Liu Feng standing there staring at the Ice and Fire Well.

"Fenge'r, what happened, honey?" Liu Erlong questioned seriously, staring at her son's eyes, which were glowing with blue light, and turning her head towards the Ice and Fire Well while using Spiritual Detection.

"Wh...at t...he...hell?" Liu Erlong said with a stuttering voice, her expression solemn as she observed via her Spiritual Detection vision.

Two enormous dragons were staring at them with dreadful slit-eyes in their vision. Two terrifying polar elements were continuously merging, resulting in a Water dragon king who could freeze to death and a furious Fire dragon king whose fire could turn anything to ashes.

Liu Erlong's brain was hurt by the hellish Spiritual power and she instantly ceased her Spiritual Detection ability for fear of brain injury. Due to the tremendous Spiritual power attack, a nosebleed formed from her nostrils, and she was supported by two pairs of hands.

"Looks like my son can withstand those monsters' Spiritual power, huh...huh," remarked Liu Erlong while gasping and sweating. Dugu Yan raced towards Liu Erlong with concern.

"Mother, you shouldn't have done that," Liu Feng murmured as he cleaned the blood from her nose. Liu Erlong smiled at her son, surprised that Liu Feng didn't suffer backlash when he clashed with the Spiritual power of those two dragons.

"It's okay, I'm fine, and you're all right son," Liu Erlong said as she touched his cheeks with concern.

"I'm fine, and this place is mythical for coexisting with two polar opposite elements, which is why many Immortal herbs are growing in this place," replied Liu Feng. Dugu Bo's eyes got serious when he heard Immortal herds and moved towards them.

"So, you can cure my granddaughter's poison with these herbs?" Dugu Bo inquired eagerly, not caring about the reason for Liu Erlong's backlash, and knowing this was their personal matter, he didn't want to go into it.

"Grandpa, you should know the situation before you speak," Dugu Yan stated as Dugu Bo grinned nervously and Liu Erlong caressed Dugu Yan's head, sensing her nervousness.

"You are really lucky Gramps, with the help of the Immortal herbs in this Mythical place, Dugu Yan won't have to face the poison of her spirit, and maybe these herbs will completely change your poisonous spirit characteristics," Liu Feng said as he walked towards the herds planted in the Yin Yang Well.

"Haha really that's great, then quickly give them to my granddaughter," Dugu Bo said with an existing face, Dugu Yan had a slight smile even though she couldn't understand their conversation, but she knew Liu Feng found the solution to her poison as she gazed at him with red cheeks and a slightly hot heart.

"Cool Gramps, I understand your eagerness, but there was a problem when she took the Immortal herds, it wil cause terrible pain, and if I show those herbs, I think you won't let her take those herbs," Liu Feng said, Dugu Yan's face gloomy when she heard about experiencing pain.

"Show me those Immortal herbs?" Dugu Bo inquired, having learnt certain medical herbs to help him control over the poison in his body. Liu Feng nodded and carefully took up the two herbs with his blazing blue hands, taking care not to damage the Immortal herbs' roots. Dugu Bo quietly glanced at Liu Feng for an answer, and Liu Feng took out the two toxic plants.

"You know those herbs are full of Fire and Ice poison because you told me earlier I'm not angry, but do you have any guarantee this will succeed boy, or do you still think you can play your games in front of me?" Dugu Bo asked. His Spirit power pressure was increasing to the point that the entire atmosphere was turning into a frigid aura of his. But another murderous intent collided with his, causing him to slightly surprised.

"Why don't you first listen to my son's words, Poison Douluo," remarked Liu Erlong.

Dugu Yan was uneasily hiding behind Liu Erlong's legs and glancing around the tense atmosphere.

"OK, tell me your reason," Dugu Bo responded calmly after noticing her granddaughter's frightened expression.

"Finally, Gramps, you can listen to my words, what you said is right, this Fire poison herb is called Infernal Delicate Apricot and another is Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass filled with Ice poison, even though both are poisonous but taking them both gives resistance to Ice and Fire or you can say Ice and Fire Alchemy body," said Liu Feng, glanced at Dugu Yan with a smile and making Dugu Yan lowered her head shyly.

"However, Dugu Yan must endure the painful process of changing her body, and while she can also take these Immortal herbs after her Spirit awakens, I believe it will be more beneficial if she takes these Immortal herbs now as she may gain Fire and Ice elements to her Spirit, or perhaps her Spirit will awaken a different Spirit than your Jade Phosphor Serpent spirit," Liu Feng said confidently, looking at Dugu Bo.

After hearing Liu Feng's explanation, Dugu Bo couldn't help but think about the merits and cons of this approach. After some thought, he called his granddaughter to come near him.

"Dugu Yan, I believe that boy's words are true, but in the end, you are the only one who can choose; if you don't want it, I will give you those herbs after your spirit awakens. So, choose and tell me what you want to do," Dugu Bo remarked, kneeling in front of his granddaughter and caressing her sweet face.

'I know Grandpa is always sad because his spirit is harming our family, and if I had the chance to change the spirit, I would suffer the pain, but I am scared a bit though," Dugu Yan mused, gazing with her cute emerald eyes.

"And Grandpa!, I think there will be no difference feeling this pain now and after the poison pain from my spirit, so I decided to take those Immortal herds and make your burden lighter after Daddy's death," Dugu Yan said, making Dugu Bo's eyes turn red with emotion seeing his granddaughter knew about his sadness and caring about his burden caused him to cry and hug her tightly.

"My little granddaughter saying big words and make sure you succeed in the process," Dugu Bo stated, while Liu Erlong smiled at their emotional connection and looked at her son to promise to protect him.

"Glad you chose to take these Immortal herbs, now let's find a suitable place," Liu Feng remarked as he proceeded in the Mythical Yin Yang Well which was Icy blue and red fire bursts of brightness surrounded by many different types of exotic plants. Liu Feng and Dugu Yan looked about with widened gazes as their inner kid enjoyed the beautifulness of this Mythical land.

Liu Feng sat down on the ground, and he motioned for Dugu Yan to follow suit while displaying her back to him. She ate the Two Immortal herbs as Liu Feng instructed, and her entire body began to ache, and her blood vessels began to flow with extreme Fire and Ice elements.

"Ah!, It hurts!!!," Dugu Yan cried out loud, feeling the heat and cold rush through her body. When Dugu Bo watched his granddaughter screaming in pain, he felt concerned, and when he tried to move, Liu Feng's voice stopped him.

"Don't lose consciousness, bear the pain, and I will control the flow of the elements in your body," Liu Feng murmured as he placed his palms on her back and passed his spirit power within her body.

Dugu Yan's blood vessels were flashing blue and red, and a blue spirit power instantly soothed the bursting components in her body. Dugu Yan remembers her drunk Granpa talking about his grief for her father's death and how he hated himself. Dugu Yan's resolution ignited, she wanted her Grandpa to be pleased and focus on the flow of Liu Feng's Spirit power and tried to aid him.

"It will be finished any time now," stated Liu Erlong, who was using Spiritual Detection to look into the situation in Dugu Yan's body and discovered that the Fire and Ice elements in Dugu Yan's body were mingling with the invisible Green poison inside her, which had to be her Spirit that would awaken in the future.

"Phew, it's finished," Liu Feng murmured tiredly, his entire body dripping with sweat and saturating his dress. Liu Erlong approached her son with a troubled expression, and Dugu Bo also approached his granddaughter, checking her eyes promptly. When he discovered Dugu Yan's eyes were brown, he was overjoyed.
