In disbelief, Tessy refused to buy his words but when he went ahead to continue bidding, she felt at a loss for words.
"Stop it." She said,
"Not till he backs down." Mason said, referring to Casper in the other booth.
This made Tessy suspicious behind his intentions of buying Aurora's pride. But she was scared to ask. Scared that her suspicions were true.
She looked over at Casper and their eyes met. For a moment, it felt like they were communicating with their eyes and she understood that he really wanted that Eiffel tower. He smiled at her and she smiled back.
"He's as handsome as I heard." Tessy mumbled and Mason looked at her. He immediately frowned seeing her smile at Casper.
What did it mean to smile at a man she didn't even know?
