Jett laughed, rubbing his head, "Born and raised. Breckenridge, Colorado–way too cold. What about you?"
"China. Suzhou, to be a bit more precise. Ever been there?" Vex asked, seeming to sink into the memories of his birthplace, "It's beautiful beyond words. Fantastical, even compared to the magic in this world."
Unfortunately, all the young man could do was shake his head as he explained himself, "I wasn't much of a traveler. Hardly ventured outside of my own hometown, if I'm being honest."
"Same here. I always wanted to visit America. Say, Jett, how long have you been in Fantasia?" The question was given by Vex.
Being asked such a thing made the young man stop and think about it for the first time, sincerely finding it difficult to attribute the chaotic experience he had in the world.
Jett scrunched his nose trying to decipher his own time there, pushing an answer out, "I'd say a few weeks, no more than a month, tops." He guessed.
