"...Hey, there's something I need to do actually," Cynthia suddenly told him as if remembering something, "Wanna meet up somewhere after?"
Jett glanced around before noticing an inn down the north street, pointing to it, "How about there?"
"Sounds good!" Cynthia said before racing off.
It didn't take more than a few seconds for the standout girl with red hair to completely disappear into the crowd, leaving Jett standing there for a moment by himself.
'Wonder what she needed to do so urgently,' he thought.
Not questioning it much, he chose to check out the inn, having to slide past the streets of constantly moving and chattering people as he passed by enticing restaurants. As he walked along the street, he found the soft tunes of a lute meeting his ears with a tranquil melody.
A man with wavy, black hair, dressed in a brown-and-white tunic sat on the side of the street, leaning against the wall as he gently strummed the flute.
