"Err, Jett!" Eldris called worriedly.
As he glanced to where his companion was facing, he witnessed the daunting sight just then: a line at the rear of the husk horde was occupied by undead who wielded bows–dozens, if not hundreds, ready and aimed in their direction.
"Crap–!"
It was as the general of the undead forces signaled with his sword that the countless arrows were released by the undead archers, firing away.
"Licht!" Jett called out.
The two riding upon the dragon's broad back were forced to lay low and cling to its scales as the beast flapped its wings with force, taking a sharp angle to begin outmaneuvering the swarm of arrows.
"Waaaaa–!" Eldris yelled out, having to closely hold onto the back of the beats as it flipped around.
Licht soared swiftly despite its size, evading the projectiles and using its fiery breath to burn away the arrows that nearly reached it.
