Chereads / My System Is Pay To Win / Chapter 31 - Divine Force

Chapter 31 - Divine Force

"This is a true battle of "Reincarnators"! Let us carve this battle into the flesh of Fantasia, shall we?!" Constantine called out.

The battle ignited with those words; this time, as he bolted forward with his godly speed, he found himself swiftly countered this time by an unexpected technique from his foe: Constantine threw his fist forward, bypassing the need for range as his attack manifested itself through a colossal fist constructed of bright-orange plasma.

FOOOOSH

He was able to raise his arms just in time to guard as the burning knuckles slammed against him, blowing him back fiercely as he slammed through the body of not one mountain, but two.

"Tch."

Mountains could no longer hold him as he immediately burst out, coming to witness the massive fireball swimming through the sky that revealed itself to be Constantine himself, who did not waste any time following up.

"How 'bout this?!" Constantine shouted.

Like a Sun occupying the night sky, the blazing reincarnator waved his hands, conjuring massive beams of plasma that tore the isolated region asunder, cleaving through mountains as Jett danced as lightning, evading the colossal pillars of eradicating heat.

Far too elusive, he evaded the rays of solar energy before arriving before the airborne foe of his, summoning a bolt of lightning straight into his grip.

["God Emperor Smite"]

From up above, he tossed the spear of divine fulmination down upon his foe, raining down an invocation of lightning that swirled with the rotational forces of all of the brewing thunder and electricity stored in the clouds.

"Nobody to blame but myself, is that what you told me before?" Jett called out, "I'd say to take your own advice–remember when you're buried six-feet under  that you only brought that upon yourself."

Constantine was imprisoned by the spiraling storm that was formed of rampant lightning, gripped by it as it continuously attacked him with electrical forces, though he held on, strained and wincing, "...You'd put the life of a summon over one of your brethren?!"

"The life of a friend!" Jett corrected him, slamming another bolt atop his foe.

"Well, it doesn't matter either way–I'm not dying to you!" Constantine shouted as he ripped his body free from the binding of unstable lightning, amplifying his heat further.

At the very least, there was no denying that the sheer endurance and persistence of Constantine was something of legend as he pushed forward nonetheless while being struck by unrelenting lightning before slamming straight into Jett.

"--I know how your system works!" Constantine shouted, "These powerful abilities…They're restricted by time! Temporary! All I have to do is keep you busy!"

Like a missile launching through the heavens, Constantine pushed upward as he kept his arms wrapped around Jett, binding him as he soared as high as he could.

"What good does it do to know that?! You're nothing now!" Jett screamed.

[Zeus] was not merely the ruler of lightning, but also a god of strength, allowing divine power to coil through Jett's muscles as he pushed outward while flexing his limbs, breaking free from Constantine' desperate hold as they neared the stratosphere.

"What?!" Constantine let out.

The limbs of the golden-haired reincarnator throbbed, aching throughout his bones from the aftershock of experiencing the raw strength of [Zeus] up close.

'I've been this close to him…How is he unharmed by my heat?! Just what power did he acquire–even if it's temporary, this surpasses logic!' Constantine questioned.

With a battle brought close to the outer bounds of Fantasia itself, in which its many, mystical moons could be seen orbiting, Constantine' radiance magnified as the air around him rippled in response to his own admission of his opponent's strength.

'I can let loose up here–I don't need to worry about damage! Just end him!' This thought was shared between both combatants.

At that moment, Constantine condensed the solar energy to the core of his being, swirling it in his chest as it gathered with the blinding light of the Sun itself before releasing in an unstable, widespread beam that pierced the stratosphere with nuclear output.

Witnessing it coming his way through a colossal glow of heat, he bolted upward, though the solar emission curved itself upward at Constantine' command, following him even as he moved.

Yet, the speed he possessed as lightning, with unequaled manipulation of the skies, allowed him to dance around the solar beams. It was a destructive chase amidst the highest altitudes, as the colossal solar beam carved through the atmosphere with a rippling, flashing heat.

Finally putting an end to the attack, he shot high up as a bolt of lightning, surpassing the bounds of the sky as he momentarily entered the territory of the cosmos themselves.

"...Hff…"

In that moment, breath left his lungs as a frost gripped his body when leaving the atmosphere of Fantasia, surrounded by distant stars and colorful moons of the fantastical world; the one to his left being large and of emerald stone and the right one being chalky and orange.

As he was able to overlook the atmosphere of the colossal world, he manipulated them as he slowly moved his hands inward, commanding the world's storms to rendezvous upon one point—directly around his opponent.

The winds that howled and swirled with grandeur above simple natural disasters engulfed Constantine, keeping the solar-empowered figure in the eye of the storm whilst it was being concocted.

["The Storm That Brought The Titans Down: Primordial End"]

Aiming a single hand down, he clenched the storm with his godly authority as his pale, shining hair flowed in the veil of cosmos, invoking the country-sized storm to begin spinning, spinning, and spinning faster and more violently.

"Nnnghah…!" Constantine let out, attempting to endure the colossal pressure.

–However, the aim was not to rely on the unequaled storm to tear the figure limb-from-limb, it was to utilize the rotational force amidst the worldly storm to magnify the lightning birthed from it.

'This is everything…The strongest attack of "Zeus"!' He thought.

There was no mercy in his command of the gargantuan storm, brewing lightning unlike any other as the unequaled electrical power burned even the air, rippling through the stratosphere with a stretch of static.

As he slammed his hand down, he commanded the spiral of the storm, shaping it like a barrel in which the grandiose lightning shot itself down.

"--!"

Constantine could only watch as the godly flash descended with a roar that quaked through the heavens, slamming down upon him with impunity.

The lightning had combined into a colossal beam of bright-blue energy, shooting down like a ray of destruction from the clouds before slamming down into the region below, and with it, bringing Constantine down to the ground.

"Rrrraaaaagh…!" Constantine struggled, attempting to resist and counter with his own power, but it was simply overwhelming.

The solar energy wielded by the general of the Reverse King melded with the chaotic storm, birthing in bright-orange flashes and bubbling heat, yet was pushed down by the divine lightning.

Bearing the authority of [Zeus] in its fullest capacity, he remained floating just outside the stratosphere, overlooking Fantasia, a world that dwarfed the size of Earth, yet his eyes of fulmination only looked down upon the cataclysm he brought down upon his foe.

"Destruction," – in the mind of the anguished, perturbed reincarnator, this was what flowed through his mind as he continued guiding the pillar of cataclysmic lightning down upon his enemy.

The valley below of ancient mountains and stone trees shook violently as the valley of archaic trees and grassless soil was torn asunder by the godly wrath.

–Finally, it reached its end as the quaking skies and tremoring region of an unknown land below simmered down, allowing the seraphic storm to disperse as the damage had been dealt.

"...Hff…"

Sparks hissed and coiled from Jett's body as his muscles cramped up, feeling a fatigue coursing through his body as he coughed out; the pale, electric complexion of his hair began flickering to its normal shade, though he knew what this meant.

'...It's almost over…It lasted longer than I expected, but I need to get back down unless I wanna plummet from up here,' he thought.
