Chapter 1 - The first and the last

Click... click.. click

The sound of nails tapping against a desk echoed across the classroom, and the constant buzzing of the A/C rings in one's ear.

Life! What is life?

It's but a mere repetitive cycle that lacks reassurance, or a dull monotonous path that leads one to the thought.

"Will it be worth it in the end, wouldn't it be better to not waste time on meaningless endeavors?"

A large book lays open upon a desk, and there you sit scribbling inside your notebook too busy to have many thoughts other than to keep doing the same repetitive task of writing stuff down everyday.

Your stomach grumbles in protest for the lack of supplement, and your body hurts from the awkward position you've been in for what feels like hours but may have been merely a few minutes.

Have you ever wondered if there's meaning in life? you've probably have but we're you holding any bias thoughts as you did? Well the only thing that comes to mind as to why is simply to exist, so is there any meaning to your struggles? Why do people blind themselves with some supposed greater meaning when the simple truth hangs right in front of them?

Why do people blind themselves with other people's beliefs/ideologies?

Too many questions, but too little answers.

A person your age walks into the room wearing some brand new clothes, and some white forces. how would you feel as you look down onto what you're wearing: a shirt bought three years ago, some hand-me-down pants given to you during your birthday, and a pair of old dirty Nikes whose sole is peeling away by the feather edge. How would you feel? Ashamed? You should be, couldn't you have avoided this situation if your parents actually did something useful or if you worked.

What could have been different? Or what should have been different?

A relative or friend, an acquaintance/colleague.

People who simply had a meaningless death that could have been avoided. Why? Didn't they do what should've been done, or why did they do it.

Don't you question why things happened the way they did? I know I do..

Suicide? Attempted suicide? quite the interesting topic that brings up the question. Why? And How?

What was the purpose? Was the goal to run away from reality? Was life really that harsh? Or.. was it just You.

Some people say people who commit suicide or attempt are cowards, but I say otherwise.

Are they completely cowards? At least some actually had the guts/will to go through with their own decision unlike the select few who have even failed their own selves, and maybe society.

How would you feel after becoming cripple?

Ashamed that you now have to leech off others to survive? Depressed for being unable to live as you used to? You wouldn't feel great would you.

So how do you feel about cripples? Pitiful?

Annoyed about the people's selfish thoughts of keeping them alive? What is the point of continuing to maintain something alive if it offers nothing in return? Isn't it better to just let the issues die off on their own instead of nourishing them? Why let them continue to create more miserable existences?

Who knows?

These would merely be thoughts that'll likely be forgotten, although these same or similar questions may drift back into your thoughts.

The clock has hit eleven. Great don't you think?

Reach for your belongings, and pack up to leave for the next day. Think about what you should have done better today but didn't.

What a shame.
