Chapter 38 - Sent Away

"A pity, but...that's my cue," and with these words, Mongrel Fresco phased away as if he had never been there.

The guards surrounded Mongrel Fresco, who suddenly laughed and vanished into thin air. As the Demon Lord disappeared into the shadows, Brenda and her group finally arrived at the scene.

"Bazzy, what happened? We heard shouts and rumbling. Did you get into another fight?" Brenda questioned, concern etched all over her face.

When she didn't receive a response, her expression darkened further. Brenda and the other guards rushed towards Bas. Brenda quickly checked his pulse and breathed a sigh of relief when she found he was still alive.

"Bazzy, wake up!" Brenda shook Bas' shoulders, but he remained unconscious.

As she looked more closely, she could see the crystalized purple flames still flickering on his body, which convulsed slightly.

She knew she had to do something, and fast. She closed her eyes and started channeling the energy within herself, focusing it into her hands. Slowly, she placed her hands on Bas' chest and started transferring her power to him.

Bas' body started to calm down as the energy flowed through him, and the flames slowly started to recede.

Bas groaned as he slowly regained consciousness, and the memories of the conversation with Mongrel Fresco flooded his mind. He decided to keep it to himself, knowing he couldn't trust anyone with this secret. His ears rang, so he barely registered the woman speaking to him.

The barely conscious Bas remained oblivious to anything until his head suddenly felt like it had been placed in between two soft and fragrant pillows. He wrapped his arms around them as usual at night and snuggled his face deep inside comfortably.

"Ahn..."

Bas heard a distant moaning sound and thought his pillows were already sending him into a pleasant dream. Something sweet seemed to brush past his lips, so he licked it a few times in fascination.

Brenda Evans was currently cradling an unconscious Bas, who seemed to be on the verge of awakening.

She had only tried to make this vagrant more comfortable and had not expected her nipple to end up as his plaything! In her haste to treat Bazzy, it seems she had become careless. She quickly leaned forward to hide what was happening and pleaded into Bazzy's ear, "Bazzy, quickly...Mm...quickly stop. Wake up! Someone might see us..."

"Hm?" hearing the familiar soft voice and her warm but gentle breath on his head, Bas' eyes trembled for a moment before opening.

The first sight greeting him was an exposed D-cup breast with a light brown nipple close enough to nibble. Bas stared silently for a moment, not completely understanding what was happening.

After a moment of consideration, he decided he was dreaming. If he had attacked earlier and was now dreaming, didn't he get defeated instantly? This was depressing. Thus, Bas chose to indulge in this beautiful dream and deal with reality later.

Brenda's entire body quaked when the now-awake Bazzy Dagod started sucking on her breasts with wild abandon. Brenda poured all of her concentration into not crying out in pleasure. She simply didn't have the strength to resist or admonish this surprisingly wild boy. Her body even started to heat up despite herself.

Brenda whimpered softly before whispering in a mosquito's voice, "Please...not here...come to my condo later...you can have whatever you want..."

Bas froze completely after hearing these words. He suddenly realized that not only was he completely awake...but he heard Brenda's voice. So then, the dream breasts he was currently fondling and devouring...

"Ah, shit..." Bas didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Wasn't this sexual harassment? Then again, he woke up with a breast in his face. Who was the one being harassed exactly? Bas chose not to react at all. He moved his hand to secretly fix Brenda's shirt, as she desperately leaned over him with a trembling body.

"Sorry, the scent drove me crazy...and it tasted amazing. I got carried away," Bas shamelessly threw out a line he heard on a movie.

"It's...it's okay. You can...finish later," Brenda's face looked like it might drip blood as soon as she averted her gaze.

As she looked down into the beautiful eyes of this passionate bad boy, she felt her heart palpitate. His quirky quips were charming and amusing. She found his boldness to be captivating and enticing.

'What kind of feeling is this?' She wondered. She had no idea why she offered herself to this guy, but she knew she had every intention of seeing him tonight. 'Could I be falling for him?'

Brenda may be a hunter, but formulating in a barren land like Mortalee would give her at most 200 years to enjoy her little life. Dating a young genius didn't seem like such a bad idea. She still had reservations, though.

Brenda waited until Bas seemed more clear-headed and then repeated her previous question.

"No, I didn't start any fights," Bas replied weakly, sitting up with Brenda's help. "I...don't remember what happened exactly."

Brenda's expression softened as she saw how confused Bas looked. "It's okay, Bazzy. Just take it easy and rest for a bit. We'll get you home and make sure you're feeling better."

As Brenda and her friends helped him up, Bas couldn't help but feel a sense of unease in the pit of his stomach. The Demon Lord of the Dirty Souf was dangerous and much more difficult than he had previously believed. Bas knew he hadn't seen the last of him, as he had all but confirmed his speculation. He needed to be more careful and keep his alter ego, Bazzy Dagod, under control. He had to find a way to hide his true identity better.

If the Demon Lord could already see through him so casually, how long until the rest knew?

"What happened? How'd I end up like this?" Bas asked Brenda in confusion.

He wasn't totally faking. His last memory was attacking Mongrel Fresco, and then he blinked and saw breasts. What kind of situation was this exactly?

"Someone attacked you...we felt your soul power fluctuations, so I rushed over. I knew that you had your silver token, so if we could sense your soul power, then it could likely mean you were fighting someone," replied Brenda with ease, still staring at those violet-golden eyes as if in a trance. "Since we couldn't sense their ryms and only yours, I feared the worst. Luckily, you were only unconscious. I came down here to make sure you were okay and make you more comfortable until the medics arrived, but...I ended up sending them away."

"Why would you...oh," Bas was about to ask, but Brenda's deepening blush answered his question.
