"Yo Daz, where are you kid? We need to get out of here!" Bas King called out as he swiftly got dressed for school.
Dazzle King was Sebastian's baby brother. He turned ten this year and had already started to follow in his older brother's footsteps eagerly. Merely, due to the lack of resources in the Mortal Realm, Daz had only reached the eighth step of Hunt Neophyte with soul power at level 2. Still, compared to the mortals of this realm, Daz was already stronger than most adults.
"Coming, big bro!" Daz's young voice rang out from one of the rooms upstairs as the boy slid down the banister and landed in front of Bas. "Bro, did you break through again last night? Your hunt ryms, they were crazy this morning!"
Bas looked at his baby brother in astonishment. Even if Daz was nearing the Hunt Foundation rank, he shouldn't be able to sense the changes in Bas' body so easily, right? 'Perhaps little Dazzle is also a hidden genius...he seems to have the potential to become a Rym Producer!'
"Really? You finally advanced?" Ebony looked up at Bas with curious excitement, not at all doubting her little brother's words. Seeing that the older brother didn't deny it, she immediately cheered and hugged his arm, "Yay! All your hard work is finally showing results! Congratulations, big brother."
Ebony was only at the second step of Hunt Neophyte despite being three years older than Daz. Her soul power was barely level one, which frustrated Bas to no end. What was Sebastian doing not focusing more on his sister's rym formulation? Due to Ebony's low strength, her eldest brother's formulation was a complete enigma to her senses.
"Enough guys, we're going to be late. Daz, go get our bikes."

Forty minutes later...
After escorting his siblings to school, Bas rode his hoverbike to exit the sky channel. He pedaled rapidly to a pink building that looked like it spent too much time staring at a funhouse mirror. After arriving, Bas projected his voice loudly using hunt ryms, "This princess! Your mighty knight, I, has arrived to escort you to school. Do come and take my arm!"
"This idiot," when Lucara heard that obnoxiously loud voice outside her window, she slapped her forehead with a palm. Still, she felt sweet inwardly and smiled brightly. 'Bas really came here just to pick me up? Maybe he really does favor this princess...'
Lucara Angels was part of a noble family that ran several businesses throughout Kennesaw Metropolis. She was accustomed to men drooling all over her, even men far older than herself. This was especially true now that her past life memories had returned.
However, this Sebastian King was different from others.
Actually, initially, Sebastian behaved exactly the same as the other guys. Secret admirers with lecherous thoughts, all stalking Lucara with their intrusive gazes. In the past, Sebastian dared to look only when he felt she wouldn't notice, and the lust in his eyes during those moments was quite obvious. Lucara felt confident she understood his personality after sharing a classroom with this shy, somewhat mysterious, quiet guy for a year. She was ready to make him her first victim. However, Sebastian suddenly fell terribly ill for two weeks. Most of the class barely noticed his absence besides the few girls smitten by this handsome, quiet stranger.
But Lucara had noticed that Sebastian's vital life force had always seemed feeble and unimpressive from the day she met him in class for the first time, so she knew that this Hunt Foundation, Fifth Class hunter had suffered severe, potentially fatal injuries in the past.
He was not a threat. He acted like a clown with his friends. But his formulation base made him a good supplement for Lucara, nonetheless.
At least, that's what she thought before Sebastian appeared before her recently. This returned Bas was vibrant to the max, with a completely different atmosphere and an unhinged personality! Although his vital rym signature was the same, the intensity was on a brand new level. It was more robust than even her own vital ryms, the vital ryms of a fourth-class hunter.
'What happened to him?' Lucara wondered then, 'Could his parents have found some ancient herbs to recover his foundation?'
However, since the boy only had level 6 soul power, Lucara didn't worry that he would affect her plans in the slightest. He was too weak to do so. Merely, she decided to hold off on targeting him until she drew him further into her web, maybe even fatten him if she could.
But at this moment, Lucara Angels started to gain genuine interest in this enigma, Sebastian King.
As Lucara reminisced over the past, she stuck her head out the window to shout, "I'll be right down, sweety!"
As she turned around to face her room again, Lucara's face darkened imperceptibly. She noticed Bas' new rym formula at a mere glance. The intensity and radius of the latter's atmosphere had drastically improved, even dormant. His current soul power was at least level 10.
"Sixth step of Hunt Foundation, Fifth Class? He's suddenly close to reaching Fourth class?" Lucara could hardly believe her senses.
Level ten soul power at the sixth step?
This was absurd.
Standing in the same spot for three years, then suddenly leaping forward seven levels in the span of one night?
This was insane.
'Was Bas training his foundation by suppressing it all this time? Or did it start back then when he was ill?'
'Who the hell is this boy really?'
