"I slept well recently." John only said this as he looked at the podium where Paul can be seen walking up while Marcus stood guard behind him.
"Mic check, mic check… okay, it seems everybody is here. Welcome everyone to my private Island, you may all be confused as to why you were invited and why are you all brought here." Paul said as he looked at the faces within the group.
"But before you ask any questions, I am going to give an offer that was said in the letter to be irresistible. And offer that can give you all a way out, out of the table, out of the life you've been living, a chance to start over, a chance to live your life without the ones lording over you dictating your every move. But the price is not something to be taken lightly, the price is the same as I've given John Wick as well as Marcus behind me…" Paul smiled as the eyes of the ones inside widened as they finally realized the blonde smiling man was, except for Caine who was smiling happily beside his daughter.
"That's Marcus?!" Perkins was shocked as she saw the young handsome Marcus like he was not already in his senior years.
"John, so that is why you look young. Is the price something that would take us long to pay?" Koji looked at John Wick who seemed a bit unused to people mentioning his youthful face.
"Yes, but listen to what he has to say." John just nodded while the others murmured to each other.
"What are they talking about?" Caine asked to the one besides him.
{Marcus and John looked younger than they are…} Ares made some hand gestures until she realized who Caine was and pursed her lips in embarrassment for expecting the blind man to see what she was doing.
"Hehe…" Miss Perkins laughed when she saw this making Ares glare at her.
"Mia, what's wrong?" Caine asked his daughter.
"You were asking a mute dad…" Mia was trying to hold her laugh at how silly her father is, she might just have met him but he showed a great deal of happiness being able to meet her face to face.
"Ohhh… sorry about that." Caine turned his head to Ares' general direction.
"...the price is that you are to sell your soul to me…" Paul's words rang in the hall making those around silent as they comprehended his words.
"And what will you give us? Freedom from the table? It seems we are just going to fall into different management…" Sofia said as she held her daughters hand as she was not feeling fine John exposed her daughter's whereabouts to a stranger.
"Sophia Al-azwar, I know what you are thinking. That John exposed her whereabouts but trust me when I say I found her all on my own. Also don't lump me in to the so called High Table, they had sent lots of assassins my way yet no one was able to find me..." Paul's words made the people down there widen their eyes, especially Koji and Sophia.
Being managers they get some privy on sensitive information, a man that was said to have been able to force the High Table to put down the bounty that was placed upon his head. An enigma no one found but they still cannot fathom if Paul was indeed the one they thought of.
"…my head once priced 50 million so I am pretty sure you know of me, the High Table is nothing to me and I can end them if I want to but that would bring about a lot of trouble to this world. So about my offer, though you will work for me I assure you that I will also give you lots of benefits that are hard to resist, Marcus show them." Paul looked at Marcus who nodded and walked towards a pole stand.
He then picked it up easily and showed the people present how he suddenly twisted the stainless steel pole like a pretzel.
"*Gasp!*" other gasped in surprise.
"!" Ares was also spooked.
"How?!" Koji stood up in shock.
"Yes, how? Oh please tell us we're so curious…" Caine said as he appeared shocked but his daughter just punched him at his side.
"What the hell Caine…" Koji looked at his friend with a deadpan face.
"What? I'm blind as heck here and even if I sell my soul as long as I get to be with my daughter Mia then it is worth it. If he can really make the High Table back out then what is the problem? I know John, he rarely approves of anyone remember? And for him to accept the offer them maybe it is worth it, though it sounds like we are making a deal with a devil." Caine smiled as he held his daughter's hand tight feeling her warmth.
"So if we sell our souls then we will get to have what they got?" Perkins looked at Marcus and felt heated as she wanted to have that kind of strength.
"Yes, also Caine is almost right. You are kind of making a deal with a devil, because once your souls are mine then I will not let go as you will serve me for a very long time. But there is rarely a moment that I might have use for you, so it might just be a very long vacation with pay for all of you." Paul shrugged his shoulders as he waited for their response.
"Mom…" Sofia's daughter looked at her as she wanted to have a life with her mother. Sofia softened her looks as she stared into the eyes of her daughter, she then turned her head to John who nodded at her.
"You won't regret it, I swear. My wife is still alive and he saved her." John's words made everybody look at him. Him getting out was known to all in their field and his wife was quite a celebrity being able to soften the feared babayaga.
{Plot twist} Ares gestured with her arms.
"Where do I sign?" Perkins said making Paul surprised.
He did not actually wanted to force them and rather offered a chance, if they refuse then he'll let them go back to their lives. This offer might be something many wanted here but Perkins is the last one he expects to accept this offer.
"Are you sure Perkins?" Paul smiled as he looked at the ruthless woman.
"I get to have powers, look younger again and now have a boss that could keep me safe from the High Table sounds like a steal for me." Perkins said as she explained why she accepted.
"I know I am not as skilled as John here so it is unlikely I'll be able to get a normal life for once, so I lived ruthless and fearless because I know I might die one day at the hands of those like me." Perkins words made those around silent as they knew how hard it is to get out the life they lived.
"Now you show a chance for us to leave that place, it is not like we are not bound by the devil already. Besides a change in environment might just be welcome, who knows if we'll like it or not but it's a chance that could lead somewhere not to where we are heading." Perkins words were oddly all true as she said what she really felt.
Paul smiled a bit as he knew that these assassins were already riding a tightrope and one day they might die on the job. Many assassin like Perkins were already at the brink knowing that they might not be able to leave this blood drenched life.
{I'll take it.} Ares gestured as she too felt that the world seemed suffocating in their life. She too yearn to just live normally for once, many like her had been raised since young to be killers.
They had thought that they will die as killers, yet hearing of John living a life on the other side had sparked a lot of yearning for many. Though she had been loyal to Santino, she could do nothing to help him when Gianna thought to dispose of him.
"Mia, would you come with me?" Caine asked his daughter who seemed a bit confused but knowing her father might have circumstances that prevented her from meeting before then maybe she should at least give him a chance.
"Okay, I'll follow you dad." Mia nodded as she looked at the happy smile of her father.
"Will I be able to live with my daughter as well?" Sofia said as she held her child close. Paul just nodded at her and the girl who seemed to have missed her mother.
"I'll accept…" Sofia said as she gave a tight hug to her daughter.
"Dad?" Akira looked at her father who still hesitated.
"What about our current lives?" Koji asked as he looked at Paul as he was unsure how to approach the matter he is worried about.
"I can give you two months' time to settle your affairs properly, as long as the High Table does not find out about your deal with me. If you accept I can make arrangements that would ensure the High Table will not be able to find you(A/N: yeah because you plan to take them to a whole new reality.) That I can promise you." Paul said in a serious no nonsense manner.
"Very well, I shall accept." Koji nodded as he looked at his daughter.
"Great, now I am sure you are all parched and famished but this is the last thing for the night. Reach out your hands." Paul said making those present reach out their hands, Paul then weaved an intricate contract spell that is making them bind their souls with him,
If any other being tries to break it then they must be at least at his level in Soul power. But he would be able to feel if somebody tried to break it as well, this also helps in making those contracted loyal to him.
Though it is almost brainwashing, Paul does not mind one bit. He now has a group of skill assassins that he'll be injecting with the SSS to become the managers of his Man-cave. Their relatives that are normies will have their memories changed a bit so they will not feel out of place in the Marvel world.
Only the lead assassins will keep their memories, except Ares and Perkins. He'll have to change their memories a bit, on that matter Paul became thoughtful if he should just change all their memories to make it fit in Marvel world.
But Paul just put a pin on it for the moment as he placed the contracts on the hands of the people present. Then he just served dinner that night, the next day Koji and Sophia had to leave because they have to leave behind someone to inherit their positions.
It wasn't until two months later when the world was shocked as two Mangers of two branches of the Continental quit and left without a trace. This made many want to investigate but they would have never thought that these highly skilled assassins are now in Paul's private Hotel playing VR games.
Now all of them have SSS so they were now superhuman in strength. Caine and Ares got operated by Paul so they can now see and talk normally.
Paul had been preparing to leave as he had arranged for the tunnels that he left be hidden forever. He even planned to take the materials used to make it after he left, currently there is nothing else for him to do here other than finish in his research in VR games.
Though that would take two more years to make it fully functional, yet in this two years he plans to use these skilled assassins to become the models as well as to gather data on how the human body moves.
They all seemed to have gained a semblance of Hope since they were all able to travel in places like normal people. Paul did give them some disguise mask similar to what Marcus wore and no one could ever find who they are right now.
Though he let them do some jobs since they liked to spend a bit so pocket money is needed. Things are easy for them too being super soldiers and all, but it wasn't until six months later did they receive news of something shocking.
Paul told them about the fact that he was not of this world, he used his special skill b*llshit-no-jutsu that made them think he was someone from another reality. And that he has been in this world for centuries, he gave the story that this body was not his real self as well.
He showed them a lot of stuff, many secrets from the world. He showed them the trolls that loved in Europe and their bones under the Norwegian royal palace.
He showed them his ability to teleport but he did not do it instantly but rather opened a portal to a marked place. He did say his real body could do it faster in a split second but this ability is limited on a vessel like his current body.
So he had waited for centuries asleep until the technological advancements of this world developed into somewhere he can finally build a ship that could carry him out of the planet and enable his real self to feel where he is right now.
He also showed him the ship he is making, it looked like the Dreadnought-Class heavy cruiser. It is being built in another underground base in the Antarctic which will also be left bare once Paul leaves.
They were slack jawed at the hundreds of robots working to build the cruiser. Paul had been planning to make a lot more but this was the first ever he designed that would become the first of his fleet of starships.
This made them believe as they had been shown many things that overturned their worldview. They had thought being a super soldier was shocking enough but this going to space made them believe in Paul.
Sophia and Caine's daughters were excited as well and even became close to Akira who found it refreshing to have real girl friends that she can gossip with. Unlike the ones she used to train with, this made them more glad that they accepted the deal.
How can the High Table compete against this, Gigantic Gorillas, Mythical Trolls and now Spaceships. Heck Paul could rule the world but he said it was boring and tedious so he just wanted to go back to his real body.
They did feel a bit conflicted leaving their world but does Paul care, hell no. He already got their souls bound so he can now go somewhere else to collect more interesting things.
Paul felt that maybe he can beat the collector in gathering stuff, but he did remember that the guy has a room for sealed celestial bodies making him want to go and take it for himself. Maybe he can also turn them into the same things like the scroll world, the ear ring world and the orb world.
He felt that if he can understand space better coupled his newfound skills in time then he can probably make a time diluted world where various planets exist.
Paul was giggling as he thought about it but he just kept on fine tuning the programming of the VR Game. The Game server is also made which he placed into the Cruiser since it was large enough, he did make a few show room where he can display dinosaurs as well as have some Kongs stay.
The breeding he did now enabled him to have some Kongs that are 20% larger than the last one that fell on the empire state building. They also have better cellular regenerative factor, but only a few dozen were born for now from the mutated gorillas.
So busy and relaxed thinking that maybe nothing else would interest him in this world. But Energyne seemed to say that not yet, as they have finally sent animals in space to test try the deciphered formula they found on the ancient tomes.
Paul did not spend much time caring for the world as he and the semi-retired assassins keep on developing the VR game. He was even able to improve the gaming rig that enabled them to run full speed with their super soldier strength so they can at least practice from time to time.
Caine seemed to be enjoying himself as he sparred with Koji, John and Marcus while they faced Sophia, Ares, Perkins and Akira. Mia and Alice(A/N: I gave Sophia's daughter a name because I can't find one after searching for long.) on the other hand were cheering the players.
Paul did make an interesting Map that they frequented, the Drowned World, this was the first game he is developing. He copied the elements of the drowned world into this game as it was an MMORPG that would totally be a hit.
He placed the gas powered tools here, he followed real life tech in this game so once he releases this in the Marvel world people can learn to make Harpoon guns.
There was also the gas propelled power suits which Brune is now equipped with. Paul paused as he sat in the computer room programming the game as his mind focused on what is happening on the other side.
(A/N: Reminder to my readers, please point out if there are spelling mistakes, things I forgot in the story because I have been re reading the story I made myself to ensure this Fanfic I started while High can at least continue properly. Also please suggest some ideas in the comments on which reality or world the MC should randomly arrive to.

Monsterverse, got the big robots ready to fight too and I thought having his own giant kaiju fight as well with Godzilla and Kong against MUTOs and Skrull crawlers seemed cool.

Beelzebub, this anime is a hidden gem that ended a bit too fast. I would like to take the characters there and have the MC add them to his collection of superfighters.
Toriko, this place is a level that could at least fight Paul in a serious battle, planet destroying attacks from powerful beast and a planet full of food that might be useful if red properly.
So this are the ones on the top of my head, but please suggest some series that is almost complete or a movie that seemed interesting for the MC to go to or send his clones.)
