"Heizi, Heizi! Are you in there? What's the situation?"
The male stranger's voice caused the currently fragile Luna to tremble. However, the seemingly familiar relationship between the stranger and Heizi made her look towards her friend for help.
"Wu…"
Seeing Luna's rare weakness, Heizi whimpered comfortingly, and explained to her the relationship between the male and itself. It knew, this special girl definitely understood its "words".
"That was Maple? The 'super smart master' you previously mentioned?"
Luna listened attentively, a little surprised, and quickly wiped the tears on her face like a kitten. The arrival of a familiar stranger briefly diverted her attention.
"Wu?"
Heizi nodded its head, looked at Luna with its pale eyes, then looked at the "weird lady", as if asking Luna what she wanted to do.
"It's okay, Heizi, since he is your trusted master, I will not hate him."
Luna said softly while placing her head on Heizi's long slender neck.
The first time she saw Heizi, she realized what this little pony truly was. It was as special as she was: a Thestral that could be seen by ordinary people. It had a strong and graceful body, much like a unicorn, and not at all skinny and gaunt like its brethren.
But it was only today that Luna realized the true difference between the natures of Heizi and Thestral. Cold death always accompanied it, yet it radiated warmth like a bonfire in cold winter. Perhaps this was a gift from its master.
Luna felt the temperature of the dark flame and from felt warmth enveloped her from the bottom of her heart, as if telling her that although her mother had passed away, at least she was not alone in this lonely room.
Luna recognized that it was an extreme Fiendfyre, because she had seen her mother release similar flames during experiments, but it was precisely because this was a Fiendfyre that the girl had an impression for this acquaintance she had never met before.
"A very gentle person…"
Seeing Heizi closed its eyes, as though communicating with its master outside, Luna thought in her heart, at the same time, the male voice from outside the door came again.
"What? I understand. Luna, are you in there? I'm Qin Feng, who lives nearby. I'm the director of the Legal Enforcement Department at the Ministry of Magic. You can trust me. I've informed your father, Xenophilius. He'll be here soon. May I come in? If the site of the magical riot isn't addressed promptly, there could be further disasters. Luna, please trust my expertise."
After hearing Maple's words, Luna seemed a little confused hearing that name. She looked at Heizi beside her in confusion, but she only saw a very human embarrassment flashed across its face, even its wings flapped guiltily in embarrassment.
Immediately, the smart girl nodded her head in understanding, as if she knew something.
"Neigh!"
Heizi saw this scene and suddenly felt a bad premonition in its soul, quickly changed the subject and asked whether she would let Maple in.
"Heizi, it's okay, let "Mr. Qin" comes in, I do not want dad to see mom like this."
Hearing Luna's answer, Heizi nodded quickly and sent a message to Maple through the spiritual connection.
Soon, a burst of hurried footsteps sounded in the corridor and the tall "Mr. Qin" quickly appeared at the door. A pair of bright silver eyes and a pair of emerald green eyes looked at each other for the first time and reflected each other's appearance.
When he heard the name Luna, Maple couldn't immediately recall who she was. He just felt that it was a familiar name. It was only when he saw the long dark golden-brown hair, smart silver eyes, and the pair of cute carrot earrings that he truly remembered Luna Lovegood.
"This is simply an elf favored by the 'spirit'!"
Maple, this sequence 8 felt the spiritual movement around him and sighed in his heart, his gaze moved towards the lady on the floor who had lost her life. He immediately understood the cause and effect of this tragedy.
"Pandora Lovegood, Luna's mother, seemed to have accidentally died when Luna was 9 years old due to a spell gone wrong. I did not expect to see this situation."
While Maple was recalling this memory, he also used his magnetic voice to ask Luna, trying his best to prevent Luna from breaking down again.
"I am sorry, Luna, but can you allow me to contain your mother's body? Although the magic riot has calmed down, the chaotic environment may still have a bad impact on you. I think right now everyone would wish that you are alright."
"I would trouble you, 'Mr. Qin', and… thank you, and you too, Heizi."
Luna's voice still contained deep sadness, but was much better than the hollowness before.
Maple nodded slightly, he had noticed the strange way Luna looked at him, he also noticed that Luna knew Heizi's name. However, when he recalled the girl's spiritual affinity, he naturally regarded that Luna and Heizi just had a conversation and learned some unimportant information.
But unfortunately, his attention was more focused on dealing with the chaotic scene, rather than Heizi's big tail that swung at an abnormal frequency.
The wand drew a beautiful trace in the air and casted a cleaning spell which restored the broken furniture, scattered magic notes were returned to the bookshelf, even the chaotic ownerless magic in the air was channeled away.
With a twist of his wrist, Maple pointed his wand on Pandora. Casting various spells, the wet blood on the floor was cleared away, the tragic scars on Pandora's body, under the influence of magic, healed on their own. Even the still open eyes were gently closed.
After Maple restored her tattered clothes and placed her on the bed, Luna looked at her mother who only seemed to be sleeping and would wake up under her call.
Although Luna knew in her heart that this rest would last forever.
"Mom…"
Thinking of this, Luna's nose became sour and the pair of hands hanging by her side inadvertently clenched slightly.
The wand retracting movement paused as Maple who had an extraordinary sense felt the wilting "spirits" around Luna. Maple knew this fluctuation symbolizes "sadness".
The direct spiritual stimulation seemed to disturb the "despair" above "Galan's Cave". No, it was not "despair", it was an inexplicable thing that grew in the depths of despair. Maple could not name the emotion. Because it was still too small.
But even though it was small, it could still generate an impulse from within Maple, one that did not carry any sort of calculations nor had any "meaning" …was there anything else I could do?
It does not seem to have any use; will it have any impact? Then let us just try it.
