As the noble elf urgently relayed the Queen Fairy's arrival at the door, a swift and powerful entrance ensued. The Queen Fairy stormed into the throne room, her four wings unfurled in a majestic display of vibrant hues, eyes a deep shade of purple that seemed to pierce the very fabric of reality, and long, luscious purple locks cascading around her. An overwhelming aura surrounded her, filling the room with an otherworldly intensity. With an unyielding gaze, she locked eyes directly onto Zild, making the atmosphere crackle with palpable tension.
"A towering demon with hair as dark as the abyss, a cascade of shadows itself, and eyes blazing like the very fires of the underworld," the Queen Fairy declared, her voice a steady current of calm menace that sent shivers down the spine.
Sitting in the very last middle chair, completely clueless and unimpressed, I thought to myself,
"Well, someone's been practicing their dark and stormy intros," I chuckled,
Unfazed by her theatrics, "But I've seen scarier at breakfast," I added.
"What is your business here, Queen of Fairies, or should I say Mystifar Moonlade the Ruthless Queen," King Allu inquired, his tone calm and measured, ready to engage in whatever discourse would follow.
Ignoring King Allu, Queen Mystifar flaunted her formidable aura and pointed out Zild, inquiring, "Have you truly defied death itself and brought one back from the abyss?" The Queen inquired.
"Uhh- yeah? Sure, it's me," I answered, a tad perplexed, as if someone just handed me the wrong lunch order.
As Queen Mystifar walked closer to me, she effortlessly lifted and hurled the massive table aside with a mere flick of her wrist, showcasing her formidable mastery of magic.
"How does a feeble demon, lacking even a whisper of aura, dare to claim mastery over life and death? Resurrecting not just any wretched soul, but the King of Elves himself, a being drenched in a formidable aura," the Queen mocked, her strides deliberate and menacing as she walked closer and closer towards me.
As the Queen approached, drawing closer and closer,
I smiled, "You mean..." I allowed a mere fraction of my unparalleled aura to break free from the shackles of concealment, "This aura?" I asked, my gaze piercing Her soul.
In the grip of that unleashed energy, the throne room quaked, and the very essence of the Deepwoods of Aelyrion trembled. The room turned thick with stifling fear as my hidden might clawed at the walls of reality, leaving all, even the vaunted Queen Fairy, paralyzed in its wake, confronting the terrifying reality of the formidable aura she had provoked.
"U-ugh! T-this amount of p-power..." The Fairy Queen mumbled, her voice strained as she struggled to resist the paralyzing aura enveloping her.
As I continued to emit my formidable power, a peculiar sensation stirred within me; a holographic digit materialized, hovering just above the Queen's head, revealing the extent of the Queen's aura. In its entirety, she possessed an astonishing amount, totaling an impressive 178,800 aura.
"Aahh... such a significant amount of aura she possesses. I can't help but wonder about my own aura," I contemplated, allowing my aura to flow. I attempted to focus on my hands, hoping to discern the magnitude of my own aura. Yet, all I could perceive was a single word: 'INDEFINITE.'
I marveled at this newfound ability, gazing at the aura of King Allu next. To my amazement, the King possessed an aura almost equal to that of the Queen, amounting to 171,200 aura. I proceeded to examine the auras of everyone present, displaying:
'Prince Caelum Aqoilith: 122,500'
'Princess Verithra Aqoilith: 101,000'
'Adviser Galandorr Everdale: 77,000'
As I stood in the opulent throne room, I observed the aura emanating from each individual present. My attention then shifted to the noble elf, revealing an aura totaling 8,700. Despite the impressive display of aura during the noble elf's battle against the orcish forces, I had never anticipated such a significant disparity between the noble elf's aura and that of the royals.
Taking a moment to pause and reflect, I delved into contemplation, pondering the extent of Targo's aura augmentation due to the 'Hellscream Binder,'
"I wonder how much the 'Hellscream Binder' boosted Targo's aura, allowing him to effortlessly defeat King Allu, who possessed a staggering 171,200 aura," I mused.
Deep in thought, I continued my contemplation, I accessed the image that had once appeared in my head to check the Hellscream Binder. There I saw that this ring had the ability to increase the wearer's aura tenfold.
"So it was undeniably the ring that granted Targo the power to effortlessly overpower King Allu," I pondered.
My contemplation persisted as I delved further into the implications.
"Considering that every race with a title of King and Queen possesses an aura exceeding 150,000, this ring elevated Targo's aura to a staggering 1,500,000," I deduced.
My thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the audible grunts of everyone present, struggling against the intense aura I was emanating,
"Your Highness," grunted Prince Caelum, his voice strained.
"P-Please, c-calm down, Your H-highness... the walls are starting to crumble," King Allu struggled to articulate, the strain evident in his voice.
"U-ugh," Princess Verithra added, her own struggle evident.
"N-now you know, Mystifar," Galandorr mumbled to the Queen Fairy.
"S-stop, please!" Queen Mystifar grunted, urging for control amidst the overwhelming aura.
It was at this moment that I realized I had been unwittingly emitting my aura for more than a minute.
"OH GOD! I am so sorrrryyy!" I expressed sincerely, a wave of remorse sweeping over me as I witnessed the destruction I caused..
A throne room that was once grand now resembled an oddly messy citadel in need of tidying.
"I am so, sooo sorrryyy!" I repeated, my heart weighed down by the sight of the once regal space reduced to rubble.
"Do not worry, Your Highness," King Allu reassured with a chuckle, lightening the somber mood.
I took a deep breath, attempting to gather the surging energy within me. I closed my eyes, trying to visualize the rebuilding of the throne room, to harness my power into a constructive force. The grunts and struggles of those around me faded into the background as I focused.
The room began to change. The rubble started to levitate, fitting back into their original positions. Cracks in the walls sealed, and shattered pillars reconstructed. The destructive energy was now being channeled into a reconstructive force, knitting the throne room back together.
My heart swelled with relief and satisfaction. I had learned to harness my power, to direct it towards creation rather than destruction.
The grunts turned into gasps of awe as they witnessed the miraculous transformation. I could feel their astonishment at the shift from chaos to order, from devastation to restoration.
After what seemed like an eternity, the room was restored to its former glory. I opened my eyes, and the aura around me subsided. The throne room was whole once again, a testament to my newfound control over my formidable abilities.
"I-I did it.." I whispered, as I feel slowly being capable of controlling my aura.
Proudly, Galandorr looked at me with a smile on his face,
"This marks a promising beginning, Your Highness, as you venture towards establishing a kingdom at the heart of Unovaheim," Adviser Galandorr remarked.
The rest of the group gazed at me, their expressions a portrait of marvel and admiration, contrasting with Queen Mystifar, who remained in a stunned state, grappling with the sheer incredulity of what she had just witnessed.
Recovering from her state of shock, she endeavored to rise to her feet. As she regained her composure, she began walking slowly, getting closer and closer to me.
"Uhmm... aa-re you a-alright?" My cheeks blushed deeper as she leaned in, her soft hands caressing my face, her eyes holding mine in an alluring gaze.
Everyone else in the throne room was baffled by what the Queen Fairy was doing, while Princess Verithra had a noticeable pout on her face, clearly displaying jealousy and annoyance towards the Queen Fairy.
"Such a tranquil and tender demon, yet capable of unleashing destruction at mere whim," she purred, a wicked smile gracing her lips.
"U-uuhh.." I stuttered, as she walks away slowly,
"This will reshape the very essence of this land... Zild. We, the Fairies, wish to propose a trade of products and establish a friendly relationship with the Kingdom you are going to establish," the Queen Fairy asked gently as she continued walking farther and farther from me.
A gentle breeze brushed through the room, carrying with it a sense of hope and opportunity. I looked at Queen Mystifar with gratitude,
"That sounds like a plan! Fairy trade fair, here we come! Let's catch up once Unovaheim is the talk of the fairyland," I chimed, flashing a playful smile.
Prince Caelum, always one for humor, chimed in, "Oh, and do you guys have any tricks up your sleeves? Maybe teaching us a thing or two about granting wishes?"
This light-hearted remark made everyone laugh, lightening the atmosphere and lifting any lingering tension,
King Allu added with a grin, "And I've heard rumors about Fairy glamour. Maybe a makeover for me?"
Meanwhile, Princess Verithra maintained a pouty face.
The room filled with cheerful banter, and I couldn't help but feel the bonds strengthening. Queen Mystifar laughed, and the air felt lighter, filled with the promise of future collaborations and friendships.
"Zild, feel free to drop by my realm sometime. I'll show you the beauty of my land," Queen Mystifar said with a composed tone, just before disappearing.
I smiled and continued my unfinished business with my new comrades.
"If all of you are settled, let's proceed with the plans. But before that, I'd like to ask the noble orcs some questions. Caelum, Verithra, could you come with me and show me where they are being held? I need your help with something," I stated, turning to Prince Caelum and Princess Verithra.
Prince Caelum and I descended a dark, cobweb-filled staircase that led to the place where the noble orcs were being detained.
As we drew nearer to the cells of the noble orcs, where their power was being suppressed by enchanted bars, and the gates were guarded by greater elves, I addressed the noble orcs directly,
"Who bestowed the Hellscream Binder upon your king?" I demanded, my gaze unyielding and intense.
"We were mere pawns... Our orders were to obliterate Aelyrion and drain the elves of their aura," replied Noble Orc 1, a tinge of sorrow in his voice.
"We deeply regret our actions and the consequences that followed. We seek your forgiveness," the Leader of the Noble Orcs stated, his voice heavy with remorse.
"Verithra, it's time," I said, turning to Verithra.
Verithra delved into the souls of the noble orcs, confirming their genuine remorse, their hearts burdened with guilt and their desire for redemption from the elven people.
"I extend my forgiveness to all of you," Princess Verithra declared, her voice resonating with compassion.
"If you seek the forgiveness of the elven people, you are all free to ask for it. Join me in forging a new path, a kingdom without the shadow of evil leaders. Together, we will create a realm of light and peace," I stated, offering them a chance for redemption and a new beginning.
Prince Caelum's emotions boiled over, his voice heavy with anger and resentment.
"If it weren't for His Majesty, forgiveness would be beyond reach. You have slaughtered and ravaged the old and young of our people. The consequences are yours to bear, You all deserve deat-" he spat out, his fury palpable.
"Enough, Caelum," I interjected, sensing the seething intensity of his emotions.
Prince Caelum fell silent, his face still contorted with rage as he fixed a stern gaze on the noble orcs.
I placed a reassuring hand on Caelum's back and turned to the captive orcs. With unwavering determination, I unlocked their cell.
"You are now at liberty to seek forgiveness from the people of Aelyrion. I have urgent matters to attend to. Upon my return, consider joining the kingdom I am in the process of building," I declared with authority, extending to them an opportunity for redemption.
As we ascended from the dungeon-like cells, stepping onto solid ground, I turned to Caelum with purpose.
"Caelum, come with me. We're headed for the heart of Novaheim, I see for myself this creature you spoke of," I informed Caelum.
"The journey to the center of Novaheim will us take nearly ten days, Your Highness," Prince Caelum explained.
"I'll try to use my power so we can go there as quick as possible, gather everything you need to take with you, and I'll wait for you at the entrance," I replied to Caelum.
Prince Caelum swiftly made his way to the throne.
As I stood at the entrance, awaiting Caelum and pondering his delay, I suddenly heard the hurried footsteps of Prince Caelum approaching. He was accompanied by the entire elven tribe.
"EEHHHHHHHHHH, I simply told him to gather what he needed, not bring the entire tribe," I mused to myself, a mix of surprise and boredom on my face at the sight before me.
Prince Caelum arrived and explained, "It's not what you think, Your Highness," he said with a chuckle.
"I informed the King of our departure, and he summoned the entire tribe to give us their blessings as we set off," he elaborated.
A smile graced my face as I understood the reason behind the tribe's presence.
King Allu stepped forward, his regal presence commanding attention,
"Your Highness," he began, addressing me,
"We have gathered to bestow our blessings upon you and Prince Caelum as you embark on this crucial journey to the heart of Novaheim."
He turned to address the tribe, his voice projecting strength and determination,
"Elves of Aelyrion, our destinies are intertwined with the success of this mission. Let us offer our support and prayers for the safety and success of our noble envoy and his companion."
The tribe nodded in agreement, a chorus of voices offering their well wishes. King Allu continued,
"May the ancient spirits guide your path and grant you the wisdom and strength needed to confront the mysteries that lie ahead. Aelyrion's fate rests in your hands, and we stand united in hope and faith."
With those words, the tribe began a chant, a traditional blessing for travelers. Their voices resonated through the air, infusing the atmosphere with a sense of purpose and determination.
"May the winds carry you swiftly,
May the stars light your way,
May the forest shield you from harm,
And may your quest find success."
The chant grew louder and more impassioned, filling the air with an energy that seemed to infuse us with renewed determination.
As we were on the verge of setting off, Princess Verithra expressed her care and concern.
"Take care, Your Highness.. be safe.." she said, her words imbued with both love and concern.
"What about me!?" Caelum responded in a playful manner.
Princess Verithra smiled at her brother.
I took a deep breath, focusing my thoughts and feeling the energy within me. I extended my arms, feeling the power surge through my veins. My mind connected with the elemental forces around me, the wind and the ether responding to my intent.
I envisioned the skies, the freedom of flight, and the urgency of our mission. My power responded, gathering at my fingertips like a swirling vortex of energy. I closed my eyes briefly, finding a sense of calm amidst the gathering storm of power.
"Here goes nothing," I whispered to myself.
With a rush of concentration, I channeled the energy into a controlled release. I felt the winds respond, lifting us off the ground. The elven tribe looked on in awe as we ascended, soaring above the ground.
Caelum grinned, exhilarated by the newfound sensation of flight. We hovered for a moment, adjusting to the currents, and then with a nod to each other, we shot forward, the wind carrying us swiftly towards the heart of Novaheim.
