In the midst of the raging tempest, Aaron stood alone, defying the heavens that sort of seemed hell-bent on killing him. The storm seemed to sense the audacious challenge in his heart, and it unleashed its merciless fury upon him.

The first bolt struck like a searing lash, white-hot agony coursing through his being. The heavens roared their disapproval as his screams were swallowed by the tempest. His very essence convulsed in torment, yet he remained resolute.

The second bolt followed suit, unrelenting and merciless. His vision blurred, and the taste of blood filled his mouth. Doubt clawed at the edges of his determination. Was this pursuit of power worth the torment he endured?
