Chapter 36 - Engagement

Aaron awoke in what felt like a different world. His last memories were of the intense battles in the Arena, and now he was in a room that exuded opulence and grandeur. The pain he had felt from the grueling trials by blood was absent, and he couldn't help but wonder how much time had passed since he had fainted.

The room he found himself in was nothing short of breathtaking. The walls were adorned with rich tapestries depicting scenes of vampire history, and the high ceiling was adorned with intricate patterns in gold and crimson. A massive, canopied bed dominated the room, draped in deep burgundy silks and velvets. Aaron marveled at the craftsmanship of the furniture, each piece an exquisite work of art.
