"Call the police," Levi instructed, the secretary running off to get to the phone. He then reached inside his pocket for a glove. For some reason, he had a feeling that the painting was enough to kill Scott. That man was bad at showing what he felt.
"…Rowan, do you know this is going to happen?" Levi murmured as he stared at the dark version of the painting under the poor lighting of the office. The blood on the frame's glass even splattered in the direction of the dispersing image, giving the painting a grimmer feel. Even the roses on that side were painted red with blood.
When he turned behind him, he saw the half-finished bottle and the jewelry bag. When he picked up the glass, he saw the diamond ring inside. The note in the bag even looked like this was supposed to have been delivered months ago. However, due to some mix-ups, it had been delayed for so long.
