At this, Duke only waved goodbye at Rowan and the kids, Parker pulling Rowan by the hand. When they left, Duke walked inside with Diane. He asked the gallery attendant, "Is Sir Wellington around? The other directors should have arrived earlier."
"Yes, sir. They're waiting for you at Sir Wellington's office." Diane didn't act warmly toward Duke, even though she was close to Rowan. After all, that was Rowan. All the other directors were known to the members differently. She just bowed at the side when Duke ascended the stairs to the office.
When Duke vanished to the upper floor, she took out her phone and called a number. "Hey, I didn't have to ask Rowan. Duke just arrived. He's headed there now."
