Rowan mentally slapped his face when the little joke bit him back. He just realized Duke only needed to misspeak once, and it was permanently recorded in Avery's brain—Parker's too. Rowan could only smile at George, who found the name suspicious.

He just said, "Uncle, please humor me. I just really like that name."

"Did you meet a nice person with that name?" George only laughed before gesturing for them to follow him. "Come, come, then… Dominique. Don't worry, you don't have to sit next to Scott. I prepared a different table for you."

"We have our own spot?" Rowan asked, but since George walked in front, he didn't catch how Rowan stuck his tongue out at Duke. Parker even wondered when she caught it, tilting her head to the side. However, he did it so fast that when George turned to answer, Rowan was already facing him again.
