Rowan ran past the glass thingies Levi spotted from where they were, but he moved back to check them out. Those were just colored and clear glass containers with spinning bottom pads. They were meant for makeup brushes, but everyone knew they could serve other purposes. Rowan picked up one as if wanting it as storage for his thicker paintbrushes.
Because he stopped there, Levi managed to catch up to him. After looking for two pieces he wanted to buy, Rowan moved away to look for more things.
"Do you want me to take a bigger basket for you?" Levi watched Rowan arrange his full basket. "You might drop one of those. You're going to buy more than that, right?"
"Huh? You don't have to…" Rowan flinched at the supposed servile offer, but he realized that the baskets were close to the pile of paint tubes where the students were. He just chuckled in apologies. "Can I bother you with it? I'll be in this aisle, I promise."
