The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. The first rays of sunlight touch my eyes. I still feel half-sleepy but realize that I am still in my shirt from yesterday I get up and decide to wash up. Aviazela was still soundly asleep on the bed. I make my way to the bathroom slowly and quietly. The moment I got up from the bathroom, there was a knock on the door.
"Mr. Jayden, I am sorry to interrupt you, but both Mr. and Mrs. asking me to tell you that they want to have breakfast together".
"Alright, Mrs Anne thank you"
I turn back at Aviazela and she still sleeping. I need to wake her up after all she is still in her wedding dress. I crouch beside her and shake her slowly.
"Hey wake up, Mom and Dad are waiting for us..."
The moment she opened her eyes, she seemed surprised to see me and suddenly slapped me before I could avoid it. "Ahh...!" I was also surprised by her sudden slap, I immediately retreated, bumping into the corner of the bedside table before falling hard to the floor.
"Oww..! Are you a crazy woman?! I just wake you up! You seriously a crow always brings bad luck to me!"
"Hello! Who tells you to wake people up like that, naked...oh, goddamn bro fix your crow I mean towel..!" covering her eyes.
I hurriedly covered myself back with the towel and got up. I can still feel the pain in my waist. Ignoring her, I walk myself to my closet.

*Jayden's office, TheWalsh Enterprise*
"Mr. Walsh, Mr. Davies is here."
"Let him come in..."
"Yo, it's the groom! Sorry I couldn't come yesterday, so how was the wedding bro? I'll make sure to send you a gift"
"Tshh! What do you want?"
"oh dude, you won't believe this, remember when you asked me to dig into your wife's past life? The one that crashed into your grandfather and you, when you were eight, are your wife's parents. Can you believe it? You've been looking for them for ages.."
"Are you serious right now?!" I look straight at Isaac's face still trying to process everything that he said.
"I am serious, and worse is that someone in that family is covering up this thing! That's why we can't find anything but I got it thanks to my clever mind. "
When I was eight, my grandfather and I were hit by a car when both of us were going for a walk later in the evening, and it took his life. I was hospitalized for the need for psychiatric observation for some time. I can still hear people shouting in my head, the smell of leaking oil, the blood, pieces of broken glass scattered, everything. Dad tried very hard to find and gather information about the driver and the car but no name, no address, nothing. They were like a ghost disappearing into the thin air.
