Lance looked distant as if he had not heard what Marvin said.
Or rather, he did not realize that he had a child at all.
Marvin sighed slightly. He didn't know what to say.
"I do not believe it. You must have some plans."
He thought for a moment and said, "I have to go abroad tomorrow and study this venom with my partner. Don't be too desperate. I've said that I would not let you die. I will try my best to find the doctor who made this venom and figure out the composition. I can work it out."
There was no expression on Lance's handsome face as if the dying person Marvin was talking about was not him.
Marvin felt frustrated. Although he said so, he did not know whether he could make it.
