When Liam walked out, I couldn't help but feel like I poked a deep wound. Was his mother no more, or did something happen, how am I supposed to know all these things when I don't know him?
I walked out of the library feeling guilty, I didn't mean to make Liam react that way.
"Hey," Alex said, blocking my path. I gazed up at him and he was grinning, but I was in no mood to entertain jokes.
"Hi," I said, and dodged him, heading to the school's cafeteria.
"What's wrong, you look like someone who ate expired food," Alex said with a smirk.
"Ahh, I wish I did eat an expired food," I said with a sigh.
When we got to the cafeteria, there was no sign of Bea or Ed anywhere, so I guess I was eating alone.
I took a step forward and Alex followed me, I glanced at him.
"What?" He asked.
"Aren't you going to eat with your friends?" I asked.
