I turned to Charlotte and I was right, she was crying, even if I was f*cking mad at her, I couldn't just ignore her tears, she was there for me while I cried mine.
"What's wrong?" I asked in a soft tone for the first time in a long time.
"I'm exhausted Liam, I--I just wanna die," She said, sobbing her eyes out that one could tell she was being genuine.
"Hold on," I said, leading her away from the main road where we stood and where divine students were recklessly showcasing their divine powers, either running or flying or riding bikes.
"Tell me, what is it that made you this upset?" I asked, making her sit on the bench by the side of the road.
"It's you, Liam, I--I knew I messed up, big time. I shouldn't have bullied Ranella and I shouldn't have done what I did. But now I'm seeing the consequences of my actions and I downright regret it," She said amid her sobs.
