After class, I went to the cafeteria, sitting down at our usual spot that now seemed empty without Ranella or Edward.
I was eating alone when I felt someone sitting in front of me, I lifted my gaze and it was Alex who was sitting opposite me, with his tray of food placed in front of him.
"Hey," He smiled.
"H--Hey," I replied with creased brows wondering what he was doing here.
"Oh, I didn't want to sit there, the Charlotte issue, you know," He said and I nodded, I understood because the popular table had now turned into the diss table.
"Can--can I sit here?" He asked again, this time unsure.
"Yeah sure, it was empty anyway," I replied.
"I thought you were a vegetarian?" Alex asked, looking at my dish.
"I am, I just wanted to try something different," I said with creased brows.
