Ranella was alone in her room, sketching, it was one thing she loved to do, it kept her calm when she was tense and most of her works were of Liam. She always Sketch Liam whenever she felt tense but for some reason, she ended up sketching Alex tonight.
She didn't notice she had sketched Alex until she was done and took a good look at it. When she finally realized, she had a flash of imagination in her head, it was of Alex blowing a kiss to her.
She instantly shook her head and ripped the sketch paper, breathing heavily.
'What was that?' she asked herself.
This can't be happening, she shouldn't get the wrong idea, he was just being nice to her as a friend and because he wanted to figure out why he couldn't read her mind. Just because he started smiling at her, that doesn't mean she could start crushing on him.
"Ah," she groaned, frustrated and angry at herself. She tugged at her hair and threw the chunks of paper on the floor. She went into the bathroom, took a quick bath, dried her hair, and tied her night robe before laying flat on the bed.
~~
She finds herself in a secluded garden bathed in soft moonlight. She stood beneath an ancient willow tree, its branches swaying gently in the breeze. This was her garden, how did she get here?
Suddenly, she hears a rustling and turns her head to see Alex approaching, his eyes filled with a mixture of warmth and uncertainty.
With graceful steps, Alex crosses the distance between them, his movements as fluid as the flicker of candlelight. He takes Ranella's hand delicately, brushing his lips against the back of her palm, causing her heart to skip a beat.
His touch sends a shiver down her spine as if his very presence is enough to ignite her senses.
With a soft voice that carries the weight of unspoken emotions, "You look beautiful in your night robe." his words envelop her in a cocoon of intimacy.
The air becomes heavy with anticipation, as his face hovered above hers. As he talked, Alex's gaze became more intense, his eyes locking with Ranella's as he leaned in closer and whispered playful compliments that sent blushes cascading across her cheeks, like whispers of blooming petals. In this enchanted moment, their hearts beat in sync, their souls entwined as if caught in an eternal dance.
But just as confusion tempts Ranella with the allure of Alex's intensity, the scene shifts.
Now, she finds herself in a vibrant meadow, ablaze with the colors of a fiery sunset, wearing a white dress. Liam stands before her, a mischievous sparkle in his eyes and a roguish smile etched upon his lips. Her heart began to beat fast in her rib cage.
With a spontaneous charm, Liam takes Ranella's hand, twirling her effortlessly amidst the swaying grass. Their laughter echoes through the meadow, carried across the breeze like a melody of pure joy.
Liam's presence brings a sense of liberation, a contagious energy that ignites the flames of excitement within Ranella.
In this dreamlike moment, Liam whispers into Ranella's ear, " Ranella," he calls her name, his voice filled with the promise of endless adventures. His touch around her body is as fleeting as the wind, yet electrifying, leaving her yearning for more.
They share stolen glances that speak volumes, their eyes twinkling with shared secrets and promises kept hidden within the depths of their hearts.
Ranella finds herself caught in a whirlwind of emotions, entangled between the intoxicating allure of Alex's intensity and the exhilarating sparks that dance between her and Liam. His face closed in on hers, slowly going to the lips.
The scenes leave her longing for the impossible choice, tantalizingly close yet always just out of reach. And just before his lips could land on hers.
"No!" Ranella woke up with a loud gasp, her breathing became rapid, and her heart began to beat fast in her rib cage, just as it did in her dream.
"No, this can't be happening," She whispered to herself before lying back on the bed, covering her head with the duvet.
She was having a sweet nightmare, dreaming of the twin brothers, was she crazy? It was a good thing that Alex couldn't read her mind or if she ever faced him he would have seen everything in her stupid dream that she was sure would never erase from her mind.
The next day, after arriving at the college, her gaze roamed around, searching for Bea and luckily she found Bea walking with some guys from their class. She hastily ran there and with a slight bow, she greeted the guys and dragged Bea away to the fountain in the middle of the school.
"What's up?" Bea asked, licking a lollipop candy.
"I need you to listen to what am about to explain and I want you to tell me how you understand it," Ranell said, panting hard like someone who had run a marathon.
She explained the dream she had, the one about Alex in her garden and the one about Liam in an unknown meadow.
Beatrice's facial expression will change from an understanding one to disgusted and then amazed. Ranell became unsure as she saw the faces Bea was making.
"What?" She asked.
"Girl, you've got it bad," Bea said.
"And what are you talking about?" She asked again.
"You have a crush on the Rogers twins," Bea said, picking her nails.
"I was afraid you'd say that," Ranell said with a pout, she sat on the fountain, sulking.
"What it's normal, they're both hot," Bea said, trying to comfort her.
It's normal for pretty girls like you to have a crush, but it's an abomination for someone like me." Ranell said.
"You are beautiful Ranella, don't listen to what those haters say, besides, no one can control their feelings," Bea said and gave Ranella a warm hug, patting her shoulders.
The girls walked back to the hallway and went to their various lockers, They were taking an Ethics class today, so it was stamped that Teacher Rachel would collect the Assignments.
"Make way, move." They heard someone rushing towards them. It was Edward, running like someone who was being chased by a wild animal.
"Yo, yo, yo, I need to borrow your assignment." He said to me.
"I told you, no," I said sternly.
"Please, I didn't do mine because I was busy thinking about how to pass Teacher Wayne's class," Ed said.
"She gave the assignment before Teacher Wayne's class!" Bea said in a frustrated tone. Edward was intelligent, but he was just so lazy.
"I spent more time on Teacher Wayne's because I like his class, I'm not a fan of ethics so I put her assignment on a waitlist," Ed said.
"Well, due to your discrimination, you don't have an assignment!" Bea said with a smirk.
"Please, Ranella," Edward begged with puppy eyes.
Ranella let out a sigh and handed over her notebook to Edward." Just take it, I won't be present today." She said.
"Thanks." He said, excitingly collecting the notebook from Ranella. Bea hit Edward's shoulder and he groaned in pain.
"You are going to give your notebook to Edward, why can't you both just present the same thing," Bea said.
"You know Teacher Rachel is very strict, she would know and give us both an F," Ranella said.
"So you are going to let Edward take your assignment while you get an F?" Bea asked and Ranella nodded.
"Stop being so naive, it's his fault for not doing his assignment, you don't have to sacrifice yours for him," Bea said.
"Yeah, Ranella, I kind of feel bad you're doing this for me," Edward said.
"It's fine, I have a pretty good excuse anyway, how can a powerless human know how to control powers or the effects of losing control." She said.
"Ah, I want to hit Edward right now," Bea said with a groan as she glared daggers at Edward.
"Thanks, Ranella, I owe you," Edward said as he ran before Bea could get her hands on him.
"You are a good friend," Bea said with a smile, hugging Ranella again.
They arrived at the class and just like always, they met Teacher Rachel there, she was always on time. They scurried to their seats and Ranella saw Alex at the seat near hers, has he taken this seat to be his now?
He flashed a smile at her and suddenly remembering her dream, she turned away and sat down without carrying her gaze to him. She knew what she was going to do, she'd ignore him for the time being.
