Aedon was the only dwarf who survived. He too survived barely. His arms and legs were bruised. He whimpered back home under the moonlight. But he still held his axe firmly. His eyes were weary, but his spirit was still strong. He carried on, and took a vow to carry on. For the dead dwarves were martyrs and their lives had to be avenged. As he walked back to the dwarf town, Furin jumped from the woods and choked him to his death.
"You are the last one," he taunted him as the life was slowly slipping away from Aedon. Borgin came lunging towards Furin and took him away from Aedon.
Borgin who has stayed away from the kingdom and the rule of the king for a very long time, has finally decided to show his support to the dwarves. "Does not the darkness, scare you?" laughed Furin. Borgin the 20 feet mighty dwarf was furious at the comments of Furin.

He was too powerful for them. But nonetheless it was a closely contested fight. At one point Borgin was pushed to the ground by Furin. He fell almost squashing the dwarves. "Get up!" shouted Aedon to Borgin. Borgin stared at him and he got up. He went lunging against Furin again as the smaller dwarves fought each other. Aedon finally managed to fell the other two dark shadows. He starts to attack Furin. Furin has felled Borgin by now and caught Agrin by the hand. The axe of Aedon pierced the chest of Furin. "Dwarf," shouted the bear Furin as he released Agrin and focused his efforts onto the the Aedon dwarf. Borgin got up by now and came forward attacking the bear Furin. Furin was angry and tired by now. Three dwarves were too much fur him to handle. He turned into the form of his normal self and flew away.
