A strange atmosphere had developed in the entire village. With the changing weather, an atmosphere of fear had spread in both sunlight and shadow. Only fear was visible in people's eyes.
The reason for this fearful condition of the residents of the village was the 'haunted fort', the story of which had made a home in their hearts. It is a long time ago, when a palace was built on the fort. Seeing the big doors, beautiful and artistic decorations there, people felt that the fort could be the capital of a great king. But this view could be seen only from outside, because as soon as a person stepped inside the fort, Had he kept it, he would have become a victim of amazing and horrifying events. It is said that at night, scary sounds were heard from the walls of the fort, as if some invisible force was coming towards them. Every resident of the village had stopped going near that fort at night after hearing the stories of this haunted fort. This thing used to surprise the youth of the village that the villagers do not even go near that fort at night. They wanted to find out the mystery of whether there really is a ghost there, or is it just an illusion of the people.
They decided that they would bring the truth about this mysterious fort to the villagers. One day, the youth of the village called a meeting and decided that they would go inside the haunted fort to know its secret. He prepared himself completely. They gathered courage to face every fear and reached near that fort at night to find out the secret of that fort. As soon as they reached the door of the fort, they heard some strange sounds. They started moving towards the same sound in the darkness of the night, but they could not see anything. Slowly, they moved forward inside haunted fort. As they were going inside the fort, mysterious pictures were visible on the walls of the fort. They felt that they had reached a different world inside the fort, where everything was mysterious and unknown.
Reaching a room, they saw strange things which were very scary to look at. He reached a picture hanging on a wall and started looking at it carefully. That image looked like that of a queen, whose face was amazing. Suddenly, Chhavi said to him – "You have come here to such a scary fort, I want to test your courage. I will make you face three challenges. If you are able to cross them, then I will definitely tell you the secret of this fort, which you people have come all this way to know."
The boys were filled with curiosity, but they kept their courage up and said, "We will face and overcome those challenges, no matter how terrible they may be." Those boys faced the challenges of that image and overcame it. The image revealed to them a mysterious and terrible truth – beneath the fort there is a mysterious cave, in which an ancient ghost is confined. That image told the boys that the ghost locked beneath this fort could be defeated with a mantra. If you people can do this then this fort will be free from ghosts.
As they begin to delve deeper into the fort, they hear strange noises near them, and then a very hideous ghost appears before them. The ghost's eyes were completely red, his teeth were yellow and the skin on his face was rotten. The boys get scared after seeing such a terrible form of the ghost, but they control their fear. They hold each other's hands and together stand in front of the ghost. "We are not afraid," they told the ghost, "we will face your powers and defeat you!"
The ghost laughs at them, and the walls of the fort begin to tremble with his frightful laughter. "No matter how courageous you are, you cannot face me. And immediately with a terrible noise they attacked the boys. The boys also held each other's hands and started reciting the mantra given by that image. Hearing the sound of the mantra, the ghost starts screaming, and its powers start weakening. In the end, the ghost's powers are destroyed and his soul is freed. After this incident, the atmosphere of the haunted fort becomes peaceful, and the villagers can now visit it even at night.
