Rose reached out toward Rachael, but Elias was faster and pulled Rachael toward himself.
His gaze challenged Rose to do anything funny, causing Rose to grit her teeth and pull herself back.
'This stupid idiot. What does he think he is doing? He needs to let Rachael go right now. Can't he see how uncomfortable Rachael looks right now?'
Rose shook her head as she watched Elias take advantage of her sister.
She would have spoken up about it had Adrian not touched Rose's shoulder and pulled her out.
"We will give you both some time to talk to each other. If you need anything, then we are in the next room. Just call us over, and we will come."
Adrian spoke as little as possible.
Somewhere inside his heart, he was aware that he played a big role in what happened, and his words had been the ones that pushed Rachael over the edge.
He had no excuse for himself and his actions and could only repent for what had happened.
