When the priest said that his Serie village was small, Rachael had imagined it to be a small community of tight-nit people who relied on each other and lived without technical advancements.
She had not expected Serei village to be just a couple of houses placed a few meters apart.
"Wow! Can such a place even be called a village? This looks like a small tribe or a random group."

"This is mostly because the villagers prefer to marry close by. The size of the family decreases every generation, and only about ten or so families are left. There used to be about fifteen a few years back, but the others must have died or married off their children."
