Rodric accidentally collided with Edward's aunt, and he turned toward her to apologise. But the thundering fury inside the lady's eyes caused Rodric's breath to get caught in his throat.
'I need to get out of here now before I die. Something is colliding around me…'
"M-Mam?"
Rodric asked, trying to back away. But the madam finally looked at him. Eventually, the dangerous look in her eyes died down, and she smiled in return.
"What is it, Rodric? Do you want something from me? Maybe you are hungry and want me to offer you cookies, too?"
Edward's mother asked with a charming smile. But the damage had already been done.
"N-No! I think I just need to head out as well now. I will see you again, Aunty."
Rodric assured before he bolted out of the room. That's why he missed it when the smile on that elder's face dropped, and a chilling look took its place.
