Hubert's body changed in an instant. He went from a tiny teenager to an adult and picked up Rachael.
He had no idea what happened to Rachael, but he knew he needed to get her to a safe spot.
"Nothing you do will help her now. The power inside her is surging up, and it will engulf this earth if we do not stop her now. The only way to do this is to make her participate in my experiment."
Elias explained in a tight voice.
He was also reluctant to allow this to happen, but there seemed to no longer be a choice in the matter.
His greed had led to this moment, and it hurt his consciousness to see what happened.
"As if I would listen to anything you have to say. Stop following me and go back."
Hubert yelled at Elias, not wanting him to come anywhere near Rachael in her fragile state.
But Elias was not one to give up.
"I cannot do that. Rachael is…very important to me as well. I cannot watch her suffer anymore."
