"This is not fair. Why did that dead-beat brother of mine get selected but not me? Don't you think it is unfair as well, Rodric?"
Rose asked as she looked at Rodric.
"I think the selection was fair. Your brother is a better fighter than you-"
"Rodric, don't you wish you got to go as well? How about we just sneak in after the first party and keep an eye on them from afar?"
Rose asked, completely ignoring what Edward had to say to her.
This irritated Edward, but he was willing to take this humiliation because he liked Rose. He especially liked this plan since it kept Rose and him safe.
So, when Rodric made a thoughtful expression at Rose's suggestion, Edward was ready to snap at him.
Luckily (for Rodric), he decided not to listen to Rose's suggestion.
