Rose was enjoying the dinner party but could not help but feel something was wrong.
She looked around to see what made her uncomfortable, but she could not figure it out.
"Rose, how are you enjoying the dinner party? I want to enjoy it, but something is worrying me. This situation is making me feel restless. What about you?"
Edward asked as he approached Rose with a cocktail in his hands.
Rose looked at Edward's relaxed face, and she could not help but feel oddly out of place. Even Edward was hiding how he felt at that moment better than Rose was.
"I…have you seen Adrian or Rodric yet? I have been trying to find them for some time but cannot see them anywhere. I wonder where they went."
Rose hoped she was mistaken about her feelings, but it was not looking like that.
Edward felt his breath hitch as he looked at Rose. He could not help but see this as a chance to get closer to the person he liked.
