Elias sounded convinced about his feelings, but it did not seem like Louch believed him. The calm look Louch gave Elias was enough to tell him that he did not trust Elias.
'I should get rid of this demon before it hinders me. I am sure it will try to change Rachael's thoughts about me.'
As soon as that thought entered Elias's mind, he acted. He was about to crush Louch's neck when the demon spoke up.
"Rachael will be devastated if you kill me. Ah, you do want to get rid of me right now. I thought I felt your bloodlust in the air. Looks like I was right about it."
Louch looked satisfied to be proven right. That grateful look could not help but make Elias feel defeated.
