Elias jerked back with a thundering heart when he heard Adrian's voice. The sudden rush of clarity made him realise what he was about to do. And the realisation of this was enough to make him feel sick.
If Adrian had not talked to him, Elias would have killed Rachael within seconds.
On the other hand, Adrian had noticed the suspicious actions Elias had been about to take, and his eyes instantly glared at the other man.
"It will be better if we do not rely on the young master here and decide to crack this dungeon ourselves."
Adrian warned Rachael, but he knew that Rachael would be reluctant to believe him outright. Adrian knew he had not seen it wrong - Elias had reached out with murderous intent toward Rachael.
