"I see. I hope you get to meet the one you want soon."
Elias wanted to laugh out loud once he heard the forced tone in Rachael's voice. It seemed she was trying her hardest not to speak rudely to him.
'Rachael looks like she is jealous. Should I tease her more?'
Not every day, Elias got to see Rachael's jealous side. He was unsure what triggered her like this, but he wanted to exploit her jealousy to incite her feelings more.
The more he made Rachael think about him, the more likely she was to develop feelings for him. And for the sake of his end goal, Rachael liking him was the biggest development he needed.
So, Elias decided to throw fuel into the fire.
"Yeah, I want to meet 'that' person soon as well. After all, they are so important to me and this hospital."
Rachael's face got slightly tighter at these words, and Elias's grin widened.
