The front desk lady maintained her soulless smile. Rachael felt pity for the lady who had to work long hours in the same job daily.
"We are not here for treatment but to get some prescriptions filled. Here, this is what I want."
Rachael handed the small list to the worker and watched as the worker relaxed and lost her easy-going smile.
"Ah, you wanted your prescriptions filled? Here, give it to me. I will be happy to oblige you."
The front desk worker grabbed the prescription from Rachael's hand and quickly made her exit. The other workers looked at her in envy, wanting to be the ones who got to leave their boring jobs.
