Adrian turned toward Rachael to ask for her opinion, but her face looked severe and hesitant. She looked…. interested in the rumors and what the principal had to say regarding this situation,
'No way! Does Rachael believe in these rumors? I need to get to the bottom!'
Rachael was a sensible girl, in Adrian's opinion. So, if she believed a rumor or wanted to give it time, he wanted to know about it.
It had nothing to do with the fact that he had no other way to stay around her and influence her other than to show the same interests.
And Adrian was even more worried about Rachael and her habits after what Rose had told him.
