"Rose, are you alright? You have been staring at Elias for a long time."
Edward tried not to sound as jealous as he was at that moment. He did not want to see his crush stare at someone else at that moment (no matter how hateful it was).
But Rose had her reasons for keeping an eye on Elias. And the most significant reason was how he looked at Rachael in Rodric's arms.
That dark look he had done did not feel like a decent one. It was filled with possessiveness and obsession.
"Edward, if a fight breaks out here and I am the reason for it, will you take my side?"
Rose asked with a cautious voice. She did not want to force Edward but also needed reassurance that she would not be alone.
"Huh! Why would you start a fight, Rose? No! Don't tell me because I do not want to be burdened by this information."
"And if a fight broke out, I promise I will not leave your side."
