The root familiar was supposed to take Rachael back to her room. But after turning a few corridors, Rachael could tell she was lost. She did not remember this being the way to her room.
"Are you sure you are taking me the right way? I think we are lost."
Rachael asked the root, but it quickly shook it as if saying 'no way'. It was charming, and Rachael felt a chuckle escape her mouth.
"Fine! If you say we are not lost, I will listen to you. Are you taking me somewhere important?"
Rachael asked, and the root immediately pretended to 'nod'. That likely meant yes, and the root continued to guide Rachael behind it.
They soon entered another corridor, but it looked like it had only been visited for a while. A thick layer of soot and dust covered the whole hall, giving it an abandoned look, and Rachael felt that this place was forbidden to venture into.
She took a step back, but the root continued to push her forward.
